Learn Sing & Grow is a music & movement studio community for children and their grownups. We are looking for exceptional people to teach Kindermusik classes in our studios throughout Columbus, OH. In this role you will work in a dedicated team of educators to deliver music & movement experiences to children aged 0-5yrs.
The ideal candidates are compassionate, vibrant teachers who are enthusiastic about sharing the transformational benefits of music in early development.
In this role you will serve as a “Classroom Cultivator” — becoming the heart & soul of the classroom as you provide an amazing educational experience while delivering delight to everyone you reach.

In this role
What a week looks like
- Spark joy in children ages 0–5 through weekly music & movement classes
- Prepare and practice lessons using the curriculum we provide
- Observe a fellow teacher each week to keep growing your craft
- Create a magical environment of learning and community
- Help grownups notice what their child is doing, right in the moment
- Build real relationships with the families in your classes
- Leave your space clean and ready for the next teacher
- Show up for regular team check-ins — you're joining a team, not filling a slot

The Details
We'd rather you know all of this now than be surprised by it later.
The Essentials
- Able to teach music & movement classes to children ages 0–5
- Comfortable carrying a class with your own singing voice
- Background in music or early childhood ed helps — not required
- Reliable internet and comfort learning new tools (we use Trello)
- Current driver's license and access to a car
- Willing to complete a background check (BCI/fingerprint)
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stay active through a class — we crawl, jump, dance, and twirl
- Fluent English speaker
Beyond Training
- Weekly peer class observations — you'll observe fellow teachers, and be observed, as part of how our team grows together
- Regular team meetings, 1:1 check-ins, and an annual team retreat
- Comfort using Trello for day-to-day team communication and lesson planning
- We handle enrollment, billing & marketing — you focus on the classroom
- Paid twice a month, on the 15th and last day
The Training Investment
Before you go further, here's what training actually involves — we want you to know this upfront, not discover it later.
Training is roughly 40 hours of online coursework plus 3 in-person exam classes ($25/class). Move as quickly as your schedule allows, or take the full runway — it's genuinely up to you.
This role also requires evening and weekend availability at times.
Plus $15/hr for admin duties. Typically 5+ classes a week (negotiable). Start date to be determined together.
